Cambria Foundation launches to oversee protocol and ecosystem, with RSGP token planned

The Cambria Foundation has been established to manage and advance the Cambria protocol, its community, and broader ecosystem, according to ChainCatcher. Cambria describes itself as a crypto staking game that has been built in public over the past three years and tested through multiple seasonal experiments. The project said it has accumulated millions of dollars in risked value and built a large base of core supporters. The foundation also plans to introduce RSGP, a native token that it says will sit at the center of the ecosystem’s consensus mechanism. RSGP is intended to support Genesis, Cambria’s upcoming permanent game world, as well as other items on the project roadmap. Cambria said Genesis will feature persistent assets, guild treasuries, resource competition, and high-risk war gameplay, with incentives guided by the protocol and RSGP holders. Eligible historical Cambria users can choose to opt in to the protocol through the Genesis event. The eligibility deadline is 11 p.m. Eastern Time on Sept. 29, 2026. More details on RSGP are set to be released before the Genesis event.
